Jumpy Jumper by CREABLO - Android App Featured Review

Jumpy Jumper by CREABLO - Android App Featured Review

Jumpy Jumper is another game by the CREABLO studio, following on the success of its predecessor, Wonder Wally.

Jumpy Jumper is a jump game, a game that makes the player become a master jumper.

Using black and white characters in an ever changing environment, the player must use the seemingly simple choices of jumping up or bouncing on the walls to advance and reach the top of the level.

The game is far from easy, requiring a quick eye AND a keen mind to plan ahead. During the game, the player also gets to collect puzzle pieces in order to unlock more characters and various types of prizes.

Experiencing this game may be akin to meditating, just letting the mind and thoughts drift while our fingers and eyes control the characters on their way up.

Simple but challenging, hypnotizing and calming, monochromatic characters in a colorful world, this is Jumpy Jumper.

Bus Simulator Racing - Android App Featured Review

Bus Simulator Racing by Universal Games - Android App Featured Review

For many people, one of the main uses they put their smartphones to is gaming. Let's face it, making calls, sending and receiving messages was possible more than ten years ago with those old, bulky, indestructible Nokia phones. But these days, with those powerful, connected and graphic capable Android smartphones (yeah, the other kind too), gaming has risen to new heights.

And the new game we present here is a great example to everything that is good in Android gaming. First of all, lets describe the game itself. Bus Simulator Racing is a very unusual racing game. You do get to drive a vehicle as fast as possible but this is where all similarity ends. You drive a double decker bus through some fantastic English landscape and you have to get your students to school on time.

The game is far from simple or easy. Universal Games has put in a real effort to make driving the bus as realistic as possible, which makes for a great driving experience, but one that is also fairly hard to master. Your bus will drift, skid, slide and do all sorts of things a REAL bus would do when driven as extreme speeds on uneven roads.

You, the player, must show some real driving skills in order to drive the bus safely. You've got to develop a feel for the bus, for its performance and the roads is must travel on. Beware of brides, because skidding over them may well cause your bus to plunge into a chasm, ending the game. But of course, this difficulty is what makes the game so fun.

The producers of Bus Simulator Racing have some very smart decisions that result in a game we are proud to showcase. First all all, the graphics are gorgeous, even on mid tier devices. Everything is crystal clear, painstakingly drawn and colorfully rendered, making this game a treat for the eye. Of course, using tilt controls instead of those idiotic virtual joysticks also goes a long way.

Graphics, realistic driving experience, tilt controls and of course global ranking where everyone can compete with players around the world and important but the thing we actually liked the most was the lack of violence. In our busy, violent and conflict filled world it is more than refreshing to review a game that is player friendly, does not require killing anyone to win the game and offers players a real positive experience.

Yeah, we think you guessed it. We like this game!

MonarchVR: Meditate in VR by Edge Visual Studios - Android App Featured Review

MonarchVR: Meditate in VR by Edge Visual Studios - Android App Featured Review

We love our Android smartphones, not because of their sublime beauty, sophistication or environmental impact but because of their usefulness. Let's face it people, today's Android smartphones and mobile devices have become an essential piece of equipment for whatever work, hobby, play time or even family time you have.

Their ability to function as mobile offices, mobile entertainment centers, mobile communications center and mobile security center makes their usefulness something that no one can afford to be without.

Be that as it may, we on Android Review Center strive to find and review the best and most useful apps among the millions offered by Google Play. Which is why we are so delighted to present MonarchVR: Meditate in VR which is not only a VERY useful app but an app that helps our ecosystem and out planet. How is it possible? That's a very good question.

First of all, we must answer the question, what does this app do. Well, the answer is both simple and complicated. To use the app, the user must possess a Google Cardboard or similar device that through a simple arrangement of lenses allows any smartphone, with the right apps, to become a virtual reality display by dividing the smartphone's screen into two separate displays that each shows its content to one eye. The slight differences in the display make us see a full fledged 3D image.

The app uses the VR device to show us a set of gorgeous landscape scenes, from different forests to other types of background. And into that background the app launches thousands of Monarch butterflies that coupled with the 3D display make us believe we are INSIDE the forest, right in the middle of that awesome swarm of majestic fluttering butterflies.

So, someone might ask, what is the benefit of seeing nature landscapes and being inside swarms of insects? And the answer is quite simple yet complicated. On one hand, there is no benefit. The app does not save us money, nor does it communicate with others nor do we get a shotgun to blast at the huge butterflies all around us.

But here is the beauty and the wisdom of the app. When we need five minutes to ourselves to charge our soul's batteries, after a fierce argument with out spouse, an unwarranted stubbornness displayed by our children or merely a tough day at work, then transporting our self to that magical forest, swimming with the butterflies and inhaling the app's beautiful nature rendering with just make us better people, more relaxed and more open.

It must be tried to understand the full effects of even mere minutes the app will have on ANY troubled mind, which is all too often the type of mind our modern life creates.

We did promise that buying the app will actually help the Earth, and so it does as all proceedings from the app are donated to conservation, education and saving that most majestic of butterflies, the Monarch butterfly.

Pixel Robot Jump Saga by Universal Games - Android App Featured Review

Pixel Robot Jump Saga  by Universal Games - Android App Featured Review

In our days of super complicated games that require time, thought and energy to play, when you have to plan your base, get attacked by other players and have to return to the game on the right time before your power bonus runs out, the simple fun games suddenly get more and more appealing.

I CAN be fun playing a game where you compete against thousands of other plays using complex strategy, plans and maneuvering but sometimes we want a simple game to relax, to let our minds meditate by concentrating on something else, something that does not require heavy thinking and planning ahead. Let's face it, if we want to think really hard, plan ahead and play by the rules we might as well live, sleep and remain at work!

Anyway, what we wanted to say here is that simple, fun games are sometimes the best. When we return home from work and want a few minutes to wind down, or have five minutes at work to wait for the compilation to finish or the conference room to be clear, whipping out our smartphone and playing our way in a quick and easy to play game can be one of the greatest pleasures on earth.

And then we run into the normal problem of how to choose the best, most interesting and fun to play game among the millions of apps and games on google play. The selection is SO huge, finding the right game for us can be quite tasking. That makes android review sites so helpful, because they take it upon themselves to find the right games for you.

Well, we've come across a game we think is ideal for those seeking a simple, fun and entertaining game that is also challenging. In other words, a game the vast majority of Android people would love.

Pixel Robot Jump Sage is deceptively simple, yet fun and challenging. The player gets to control one of three robots and has to make the robot exit the circle by jumping out, using a small break in the circle without touching the circle proper. Now, this takes some practice and it gets quite difficult on higher stages. The player must hone his or her instincts and also plan a head to be able to pass on the more difficult levels.

The game has great graphics, pixel oriented textures and scenes that will make every enjoy the game. In addition, a lot of attention has been put on the animation and the game's overall feel. This creates a totally professional game even though it is available for free on google play.

To sum things up, Pixel Robot Jump Sage is a game one can play on the go, without lengthy preparations, planning or strategy. Just take out your smartphone and play it right away, enjoying the music, graphics and the customized touch controls. This game is a rare jewel among the multitudes of games and apps on google play.

Pixel Jump! Endless Arcade Hop - Android App Featured Review

Pixel Jump! Endless Arcade Hop by Fruity Bits Games - Android App Featured Review

There is a special place in our hearts for arcade games, even the seemingly simple and repetitive ones. First of all, they are a lot of fun to play. Secondly, where the big, tough, complicated games like Boom Beach or Clash of Clans demand absolute attention or you'll lose the dragons you waited two weeks to build, arcade games just require a little bit of attention and a quick finger. No commitment.

Pixel Jump! Endless Arcade Hop, aside from it's less than friendly name, is a perfect example of an arcade game that is simply fun to play, no strings attached and no need for a grand master plan that takes two months to build up your landing boat so it will be able to carry the Scorcher ....

This game can be played anytime, for however long you have, and is always entertaining. The hero is a penguin who has to jump across some frozen landscapes in order to reach his home while taking care to avoid critters and other obstacles along the way.

The makers of this game, the Fruity Bits Games studio has chosen to go with the pixel - characters graphics. Now, some love this while others hate it but in Pixel Jump! it seems the choice is well warranted, as it makes the game somehow simpler yet more addictive and attractive. In other words, it's very cute.

We love supporting small independent studios (both to have new and innovative games out there and make the big studios sweat and try even harder to put out good games) but in this case we think the game is really worth a try, as the combination of nice graphics, simple yet challenging gameplay and attractive music creates a game that is fun to play.

We should also mention that the studio promises to deliver future updates with more creatures, varied landscapes and other changes that should make the game even more fun to play.

Video Player for Android - Android App Featured Review

Video Player for Android by android player - Android App Featured Review

Out of all the things android smartphones and mobile devices are called upon to do, perhaps the most important of all is being a mobile entertainment center and this of course entails playing movies and music, naturally. In fact, every android installation comes with its own music and movies players.

However, they are rarely good enough. Sometimes they are clumsy to operate and fail to play all kinds and formats of movies (.flac files being a notable example). They have trouble finding and location all music and video files on the device and of course, at least two different apps are needed.

These are some of the problems Video Player for Android comes to solve. First of all, the makers of the app made a special effort to make it very simple to operate. The app presents a very clear tree of all the folders and media files on the device, making finding, choosing and playing a file exceedingly easy.

In addition, the app uses hardware acceleration to make use of the smartphones graphical processing unit to play media files, which results in smooth playing of even heavy, high definition videos and a considerable savings of battery power.

Last but certainly not least is the fact the app can play every conceivable media file format that you can find, even hard to get and rate formats. If you can download it into the smartphone or mobile device, Video Player will be able to play it. No question about it.

Video Player can play movie AND audio files, can play every kind of media file and presents a very easy to use interface, making it one of the most successful, easy to use and useful apps to have on your android smartphone.
